Eat to Educate

From now through June 7, 2013, stop by and see Kathy Gietl at A Taste of the Philippines, my favorite food cart on the 16th Street Mall in Denver. The cart is located on 16th Street, between Stout and Champa.

Purchases during Happy Hour, from 3-5pm, Monday through Saturday, make you eligible to be entered to win an hour-long massage or a $100 gift certificate to play paintball. Kathy is also generously donating $1.00 from each of these purchases to Give Hope, Fight Poverty, an organization dedicated to empowering and educating orphaned and at risk children in Swaziland. Find out more about the event here

Kathy's food is as awesome as her personality. I hope you give it a try!

Céline sunglasses, J. Crew top and bracelet, J. Crew Factory skirt, Marc Jacobs bag (similar).

Thanks to Annie for taking the photos, and Annie and Kathy for organizing the event!

  1. This sounds like such an amazing cause. Thank you for supporting it. :) I wish I were in Denver so I could join in!

And I love this whole outfit, especially the bright skirt. I've seen so many things I want to buy from J. Crew Factory but I've never actually ordered anything. Maybe now is the time!
