Westword Music

Last weekend I went to the Westword Music Festival in Denver. While it's no Coachella, it was still pretty rad. The 100 plus degree heat called for a lot of breaks at indoor venues, but what's an outdoor music festival without ridiculous weather, really?

Wearing an old Free People dress, Ray Ban aviators, Minnetonka moccasins, and a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag you can't quite see. I'm not sure who we were actually watching at City Hall, but the general beachy atmosphere without any sand in sight made for a good time, as did the dance party that is Girl Talk in the final photo. Loved it.

Apocalypse Now

The world is on fire, at least in Colorado Springs. Stay safe everyone, the Waldo Canyon Fire is anything but kind.

Wearing Vince leather shorts, Theory shirt, Sam Edelman sandals, and sunnies from Urban Outfitters.

Keeping Cool

On Sunday I attended a birthday party for a two and a half year old. What else is a girl to do when she was born on Christmas? Half Birthdays are definitely the way to go. Denver, apart from barely escaping the many fires around the state, has been burning up lately. Necessarily, I've been living in floaty tops and tiny shorts.

From top to bottom: hat by Eric Javits; top by CDR; bracelet from Swaziland via Give Hope, Fight Poverty; shorts from J.Crew; sandals by Balenciaga. Izzy insisted on being in the photos. Luckily, she's pretty cute.

Birthday BFF

Much birthday love to the random roommate who became the best friend ever. The goings on in our 9x13 dorm room freshman year of college can only be described with that vague sense of awesomeness that pervaded all things of my 18th year.

Happy birthday to my darling Katie! All my love.

Play Date

Nothing's better for a ninety plus degree day than a romper; this one is from BCBG. The hat is a new fav from J.Crew, and the sandals are by DV Dolce Vita. Sunglasses are Elizabeth & James. The puppy's name is Izzy. She's a doll.

The Pier

A dreary day at the Santa Monica Pier with my fabulous brother. It's funny how our styles have evolved so closely even though we haven't lived in the same state since I was in high school. It's eerie really; we even end up buying the same albums without knowing it too. Love him.

I'm wearing a leather jacket by Mike & Chris, tank by Vince, shorts by Joie, sunglasses by Elizabeth & James, and shoes by Tory Birch. The elephant necklace is from J. Crew and has quickly become a staple, and the bag is Balenciaga.
