Coffee Break

Next time you're shopping, pick up a latte at Nordstrom's Ebar. They're amazing. Also, the soundtrack to The Great Gatsby was released yesterday, and will be on repeat on my ipod for the foreseeable future. Download it here. It's so so good.

New Beat

If you've been following my blog for any period of time, you know by now that I love music. But every once in awhile I just need more. Something new, exciting, and perfect for the season. Now is one of those times. I've been loving the new Vampire Weekend single, but the rest of the album isn't out until May, and neither is the awesome collection of songs featured on "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack. What have you been listening to and loving lately? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

Broadripple is Burning

In case you were wondering, it is definitely still winter in Minneapolis. Luckily, I'm only a day away from what already feels like summer in Scottsdale. These photos are from last week there, in what I wish I were able to wear today. I'm coming back for you, cacti.

In the meantime, I'm cruising the chilly streets of the Twin Cities listening to Margot & the Nuclear So and So's. If you haven't already, check them out here. They're pretty great, and always feel perfect for wintery days in Minneapolis.

The Girl

Another day, another Theory dress. This time, with pockets! Theory is so good. I've been living on City and Colour's "The Girl" today. It's far too sweet and I absolutely love it.

Dress by Theory, shoes by AGL (similar), and Raymond Weil watch. Keeping it simple today.

Westword Music

Last weekend I went to the Westword Music Festival in Denver. While it's no Coachella, it was still pretty rad. The 100 plus degree heat called for a lot of breaks at indoor venues, but what's an outdoor music festival without ridiculous weather, really?

Wearing an old Free People dress, Ray Ban aviators, Minnetonka moccasins, and a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag you can't quite see. I'm not sure who we were actually watching at City Hall, but the general beachy atmosphere without any sand in sight made for a good time, as did the dance party that is Girl Talk in the final photo. Loved it.
