Summer Teeth

Navy and white is one of my favorite summer combos, which made the purchase of these shorts a no-brainer. The aztec print just seemed to lend itself to the moccasins. And these particular moccasins make me feel like Peter Pan when I'm wearing them, but this doesn't seem like a bad thing. Here's to never really growing up.

Feed the Geese

The chambray trend is definitely one of my favorites at the moment. Whenever I want to look put together, but still be comfortable, a chambray top and some sort of black bottom is my go-to uniform. Yesterday was one of those days. And if the weather necessitated a winter coat, I figured it might as well be my favorite one. 

Aren't the geese adorable? They're probably as confused about the weather as the rest of us, at least in Denver. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend, and stay safe! It's been a pretty tragic week this week nationwide. I'm hoping for a better one next week.

Forget Me Not

I had heard about AG Jeans for quite awhile, but hadn't actually tried a pair on until a few weeks ago. I'm in love. They're super skinny, super stretchy, and hug you in all the right places. If you haven't yet, go try them on!

Give Hope, Fight Poverty

Give Hope, Fight Poverty recently brought back a new stock of artisan direct products from Swaziland, and I was honored to be able to pose for a purpose modeling the gorgeous pieces. Where the Buffalo Roam

I'm homeward bound today, along with the masses on the busiest travel day of the year, and I cannot wait to get there. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season makes it my favorite time of year, and this is bound to be a good one. I am a little disappointed that it's still so warm in Wisconsin, though. There's just something about the bitter cold that brings people together. And I really want to wear my winter coats!

Get Out the Vote

Tomorrow is election day in America, and I want to encourage those of you who are eligible to exercise that civic duty. It certainly is a big year.

I've Got This Friend

I've got this friend who told me to listen to The Civil Wars, and now I can't get them out of my head. And I apparently dressed the part as well, with this military inspired blazer. The Olsen Twins think of everything.

A Little Rock & Roll

When summer isn't quite over, but fall is swiftly closing in, I love pairing long sleeves with shorts. I've had this plaid shirt forever, and gravitate towards it every time I'm in the mood for something red. It's a little bit country, a little rock & roll, and mostly just perfect.
