Let The Rain Fall Down

Denver, which normally doesn't get much rain, has been getting a ton this week. It's certainly a welcome change from the snow we had last week, but at the moment, the only thing I'm really craving is the sun. Necessarily, I'm on my way to the desert for the weekend. See you soon, Phoenix!

I Love Paris in the Rain

Regina Spektor had it right, Paris really is lovely in the rain. I wouldn't be adverse to a trip there sometime soon by any means. It's been far too long. In the meantime, I'll be here, in Denver, with its winter weather advisory, celebrating the first day of May. And sending Happy Birthday wishes to one of my favorite people ever, who loves Paris as much as I do. I hope your birthday is the best yet, Jenny!

Snow Dog

After a gorgeous weekend in Denver, meteorologists are predicting thunder, lightening, and snow for today. Tuesday is bound to look like a winter wonderland. It seemed only appropriate to post these photos from Vail, in hopes that this is the last snowstorm of the season, at least in Denver.

Bring on Spring

I am more than ready for everything spring, and everything floral. These shoes are quite a few years old, but still just as fabulous for spring as when I first got them. Good work on that one, Coach. Bring on the sunshine!

Dog Days

My obsession with an early taste of summer, color, and cobalt blue continues.

Thanks to Byron for the photos, and Tucker for being such a good sport!

Marching Bands of Manhattan

Between the velvet fabric and the giant brass buttons, this blazer feels super costume-y, but that's probably why I love it so much. And blue and mustard is far too good a color combo to pass up.

Blink and You'll Miss a Revolution

Sometimes I forget how good Cut Copy is. And how good mixing prep with punk is.

Hooded

The weather has finally been cold enough to pull out my winter coats, which I couldn't be happier about. It's supposed to warm up a bit this week, but I'm hoping for more winter soon. And more snow. Always more snow. Especially for Christmas.

Hair Down

Yesterday was a chilly day in Denver, and I was off to a chilly weekend in the desert. Also, I finally got my hair cut after going far too long without a trip to the salon. Thank you Evangelina Fernandez of Denver Hair Design for doing such a fabulous job, as always. I love it!
