You As A Sunset

Crappy hotel internet means a pretty simple post. It's that kind of Tuesday. And no auxiliary imput means listening to the only CDs I can find, which happens to include Dawes. Perfect.

Ray Ban Wayfarers, BCBG tank, J. Crew shorts, Dolce Vita sandals (similar), Tiffany's necklace, Nordstrom bracelet, and pearls from Security Jewelers.

I'd love to hear about your long weekend! Hope you had a great one.

A Little Rock & Roll

When summer isn't quite over, but fall is swiftly closing in, I love pairing long sleeves with shorts. I've had this plaid shirt forever, and gravitate towards it every time I'm in the mood for something red. It's a little bit country, a little rock & roll, and mostly just perfect.

William Rast shirt (similar), J Brand shorts, Minnetonka mocassins, Ray Ban Wayfarers, Louis Vuitton bracelet and Marc by Marc Jacobs necklace.

How The Leopard Got Its Spots

While there are much bolder ways to mix prints, I stuck to a graphic tee and leopard shoes with this outfit. So many people are doing the smoking slipper this season. I adore the Jimmy Choo version, but  had already picked up the pair I'm wearing here last year. Bring on the smoking slippers! Everything old is new again, undoubtedly.

Ray Ban Wayfarers, Urban Outfitters tee, J Brand pants, Steven by Steve Madden slippers (similar), Marc by Marc Jacobs necklace, Louis Vuitton bracelet, Balenciaga bag.

Have a great weekend!

All You Need Is Love

Sometimes I like to be a little rock and roll. Most of the time, really. And The Beatles definitely had it right. All you need in love.

Laughing my head off in Ray Ban Wayfarers, Urban Outfitters tee, Current/Elliott jeans, and Rag & Bone Harrow boots. Can't forget the Speedy.

Love from Wisconsin today.

Sometimes Flower Child

I adore the soft, easy wearability of these flares. The unfinished hem requires sky-high shoes every time I wear them, but they're so worth it. TEXTILE Elizabeth & James was such a good idea.

Wearing the TEXTILE Elizabeth & James Jimi jean, Vince tank, Urban Outfitters necklace, Ray Ban Wayfarer, Balenciaga bag, and some Tory Burch wedges. More on those later.

After the Rain

Today was a back to the basics kind of day. I've got two pairs of these jeans, in part because the second pair was ridiculously marked down, but mostly because I live in them. They're by Rich & Skinny, and while I always recommend most that you find jeans for your body type, if yours is anything like mine, I'd highly recommend them.

It rained like crazy most of the weekend, and then for a while today as well, which was a welcome change from the 90 degree heat that had been stifling the front range. We took this photo between rain storms.

While I appreciate high fashion, I am, at my essence, a jeans and tees kind of girl. Sometimes I'm jealous of the likes of James Dean and anyone else who can live in white tees and dark jeans and be absolutely fabulous all the time. There's something so perfect about such a simple look. This tee is BDG from Urban Outfitters, and the flats are Vera Wang Lavender, and were definitely one of my best purchases ever. So comfortable, and so classic. Ray Ban Wayfarers, Seiko watch, and a weird look on my face. Happy Monday.
