Vultures Like Lovers

I still haven't made it to Coachella, and likely won't this year, unless something crazy happens and I both make it to Indio, and find tickets for next weekend. Stranger things have occurred in my life, but I'm not betting on it. Some year though, I'll be there. Soon, because the line-up needs to be as good as it is this year. For anyone going, have the best time!

Ziggy Stardust

This sweatshirt isn't an original, but Urban Outfitters did a good job of making it look like one.

The Alexanders

No trip to Minneapolis is complete without a stop at the Mall of America. Clearly I was in a hurry to start shopping. Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.

I Walk Out In The Flowers

Some days, an oversized tee and leggings and a walk through City Park just make the most sense. Especially when paired with burnt orange flats.

Urban Florist

I love Denver, and finally being back here after a month in the midwest. However, I was sad to leave the beautiful fall foliage behind. Wisconsin is absolutely gorgeous right now, and kind of looks like these pants, only with more pink. The pink is my favorite.

Floral & Fauna

I adore autumn, and everything about it, and therefore take advantage of any day cool enough to dress for the season. Sorry, summer. Fall fashion is where it's at.

I purchased these jeans at Andi's Closet in Duluth last week, which is an amazing boutique right on Lake Superior in the Fitger's building. Their clothing picks are as good as their choice in real estate. I love these pants! And the printed denim trend suddenly taking hold everywhere.

Flying in Flats

Shift dresses are one of my favorite styles ever. They're quintessentially classic, incredibly versatile, and this particular one is also extremely comfortable. Theory has figured out precisely how to cut a dress to make it the best dress ever. And the best suit ever, but I'll save that for another post.

As I find flying to be impossible in pumps, the flats were a must. After all, you steer with your feet on the ground!

After the Rain

Today was a back to the basics kind of day. I've got two pairs of these jeans, in part because the second pair was ridiculously marked down, but mostly because I live in them. They're by Rich & Skinny, and while I always recommend most that you find jeans for your body type, if yours is anything like mine, I'd highly recommend them.

It rained like crazy most of the weekend, and then for a while today as well, which was a welcome change from the 90 degree heat that had been stifling the front range. We took this photo between rain storms.

While I appreciate high fashion, I am, at my essence, a jeans and tees kind of girl. Sometimes I'm jealous of the likes of James Dean and anyone else who can live in white tees and dark jeans and be absolutely fabulous all the time. There's something so perfect about such a simple look. This tee is BDG from Urban Outfitters, and the flats are Vera Wang Lavender, and were definitely one of my best purchases ever. So comfortable, and so classic. Ray Ban Wayfarers, Seiko watch, and a weird look on my face. Happy Monday.
