A Moving Day Movie

8mm Test from Brent Henderson on Vimeo.

Today is moving day, so I thought it only fitting to show you this video is from a few summers ago when I lived in Arizona. My friend Brent Henderson is the genius behind the camera. I hope you enjoy the video!

I'm pretty excited to be going back to the desert, and especially back to my friends and family there, though I'm definitely going to miss Denver and everyone here. It's always so tough saying goodbye! I'll be taking the next few days off for the move, but I hope you have a fabulous rest of the week and a wonderful weekend!

A Collaboration

As a Gatsby fan forever, and generally obsessed with all things Fitzgerald, naturally my blog name is an allusion to that mythical summer as experienced by Nick Carraway. To say I am excited about the upcoming movie release would be an understatement. Check out the trailer.

My good friend Brent, creator of the beautiful less-is-more banner now gracing the blog, whipped this up in his spare time, and I couldn't be more grateful. I love it! This is the first of many collaborations with his talented mind.
