I've been really into The XX lately. And while I really like their new album, there's just something about revisiting their self-titled 2009 release that makes perfect sense right now. "VCR" has generally been on repeat the last few days, both on my ipod and in my head. Check it out.

Militant Pink

Denver, in all of her mile high glory, already got snow. Twice. Neither instance was very effective, nor did it stay on the ground for any period of time, but those sparkling white flakes were definitely falling from the sky. I refused to actually put on a winter coat though, and instead opted for a scarf that more closely resembles a sweater and called it a day. Winter is certainly on its way.

Omaha, Omaha

Happy Labor Day! I'm not currently in Omaha, and haven't been for quite awhile, but Tapes 'n Tapes have managed to put the song in my head. And this outfit seems fitting for a trip to the hometown of Saddle Creek Records.
