Give Hope, Fight Poverty: On Display

On Sunday, my dear friend Annie Elble and I hung these Artisan Direct Products at a Starbucks in Denver located at 1050 E. Colfax Avenue. These beautiful pieces were purchased on her most recent trip to Swaziland, and all proceeds from the sale of these products go to benefit Give Hope, Fight Poverty, Annie's non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering orphans and vulnerable children in Swaziland. Learn more about the organization at www.ifightpoverty.org. If you're in the area, go check out the products before they're gone on June 1, 2013! They are also available online here.

Thank you, Annie, for the photos, and for letting me be a part of such a great cause! See older posts featuring Give Hope, Fight Poverty here and here

A Valentine, by LYZ Design

My beautiful friend Elizabeth Grube, the artist behind LYZ Design, sent me the most fabulous home-made Valentine the other day, and I had to share it with you. She was kind enough to send me a photo of a few more of these delightful cards, too. I hope you love them as much as I do! Next year I'm definitely talking to her about Valentines.

Thank you, Elizabeth! Check out older posts featuring her amazing work here and here

Buy Art: LYZ Design

My dear friend and bff since middle school has many talents, one of which is painting. The fabulous piece you see in these pictures arrived at my apartment in the midst of a downpour of the most depressing sort, but the palm trees and sunshine immediately overpowered the crying window it was leaning against. That's Lizzie. She makes you smile, no matter what. And I love her for it. Thank you, Ms. Elizabeth Grube, for this bit of LA now proudly living in my place!

Check out LYZ Design here. It makes me wish I had more wall space!

Also, pink pants are necessary for life.
