Yeah Sapphire

Hooray for Friday, and a wonderfully long weekend! I'm off to Portland, Oregon to visit one of my very best friends of the past ten years, and I can't wait to get there. It's supposed to rain all weekend, but that hardly matters when you haven't seen someone in a year. Are you going away for the weekend? Or do you have any particularly fun plans? Red Square

This outfit is a little more matchy-matchy than I usually go for, but I kind of love it. I became a bit obsessed with the top after seeing it in the J. Crew catalogue, and was surprised by how good it looked even though it's a bit shorter than I usually like. Also, the sleeves are kind of my favorite length ever. I've been telling myself I don't need another shirt with the same exact fit, but I think I'm losing that battle. Expect more soon. J. Crew, you win again.

White Winter Hymnal

Bang Bang

I grew up in Wisconsin, but never actually fired a shotgun before, so I figured it was about time. Shooting clay pigeons is as fun as it looks! Apparently, my form was awful. I blame a lack of instruction, as it improved significantly throughout the shoot.
