The quest for the perfect pumpkin begins at the pumpkin patch, of course. I spent a fabulous day last week in Wisconsin gathering pumpkins for Halloween, and a few pies and apples too. The drought prevented us from being able to pick our own apples, but they were still absolutely delicious. Hooray for autumn!
