A Dress for Thanksgiving

Backless dresses are a particular weakness of mine, and the unseasonable warmth in Wisconsin this Thanksgiving made for the perfect excuse to wear this one. I was fortunate enough to spend the day with family, eating far too much food and having far too much fun. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!

Where the Buffalo Roam

I'm homeward bound today, along with the masses on the busiest travel day of the year, and I cannot wait to get there. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season makes it my favorite time of year, and this is bound to be a good one. I am a little disappointed that it's still so warm in Wisconsin, though. There's just something about the bitter cold that brings people together. And I really want to wear my winter coats!

What You Decide to Swear By

Denver is the first place I've ever spent a winter where I didn't need a ridiculously heavy coat every day. Therefore, capes didn't make much sense. Until now. And bows make everything more fun.

I've never been hunting in my life, but it's all the rage in Wisconsin. Deer hunting season, for guns, opens at sunrise tomorrow in Wisconsin, and these photos seemed only fitting for such an occasion. They were taken during a visit in September, after an obsession with blaze orange prompted me to go to the local supply store and buy this hat. On Wisconsin.
