Shopping Break

Before I moved, I took a break from packing to head to Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. This post is not sponsored by Nordstrom, but after years of shopping there, I would feel terribly not telling you to go check it out. I got two new suits and a few other items and couldn't be happier with them, and the money I saved. Happy shopping!

Lost in My Mind

Currently, I'm listening to The Head and The Heart, which is just twangy enough to go with these boots. I like country that's not quite country, which basically means twangy, folksy, awesomeness. Lots of guitar and lots of easy, big voices and good harmonies to sing along to. Even though I sing along to everything, always.

Crew vintage cotton tee, Current/Elliott legging jeans, Balenciaga bag, black leather bracelet from Nordstom (similar by Tory Burch), Louis Vuitton white leather bracelet, and Sam Edelman's "Petty" bootie, which Brittney at Nordstrom was awesome enough to track down for me during the Anniversary Sale.

Ombre Homage

I haven't taken the plunge yet on the ombre hair trend, but I love it in my clothing. This shirt, by Elizabeth & James, is an excellent example of just how awesome ombre can be. I picked it up during Nordstrom's Anniversary sale, and couldn't be happier with it. Clearly, as I decided it wasn't too hot to wear it in nearly 90 degree temperatures. The sale is on until August 6th. I definitely recommend checking it out, here!
