A Fabulous Fête

This past weekend in D.C. we celebrated one of my cousin's engagements. It was wonderful to be able to see so many of my relatives, since we're pretty spread out across the country, and the party was nothing short of fabulous. I apologize for the poor quality of these photos. My iPhone won out as my dominant camera for the evening. Congrats to the happy couple! I'm so excited for you!

Culver City Streetlights

While in LA last week I was fortunate enough to meet up with one of my best friends, Lizzie, the talent behind LYZ design, featured previously on the blog here, here, and here. Catching up with old friends always makes for the best nights.

Thanks for the photos, Lizzie!

And Lizzie's fabulous booties are from Zara.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

I'm channeling Holly Golightly for my most formal Valentine's Day look, though I may end up wearing something warmer tonight. It's going to be cold in the mountains! And we got our reservations, which I'm very happy about. Thanks for the good vibes on that one!

Happy Valentine's Day, to all of you. I hope your day is filled with love.

Christmas Dressing

I promise this is the last post of things I wore on Christmas. The holiday season is just too fun! And dressing up for dinner only makes it better.

Sundressing for a Wedding

I bought the dress, and then, unsure about the shoes, asked my mother what she thought of wearing wedges with it. "They're showing $5,000 dresses with wedges, you can do whatever you want," is essentially what she responded. And she was so right.

I wore this for one of my best friend's weddings in Minneapolis, and loved how the look came together. The wedding was a blast, and generally way too much fun. Congrats to the happy couple!

What do you think? Do wedged dress it down too much? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Wearing 3.1 Phillip Lim dress (on sale!), Chloé wedges, Badgley Mischka earrings, and a clutch from American Apparel.
